In the Bachelor Degree Courses, emphasis is laid on the fundamental concepts and principles, which constitute the basis of civil engineering practice. To foster their creative abilities, the students are assigned projects on design, construction or laboratory investigations for self-directed execution.

The classroom and laboratory work is supplemented with instructional tours to acquaint students with the civil engineering projects of national importance and with survey camps where they plan and execute surveys of large areas independently.

Civil Engineering is also called as Mother of Engineering. Study of it, is directly or indirectly related with other branches of Engineering like Electrical, Mechanical etc. It involves study, design and analysis of almost all physical structure that you can imagine like bridges, highways, buildings, dams, airports, transmission lines and grid station foundations, machine foundations, railway lines etc.

Civil Engineering program of Chenab College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. It means that students here will be educated with same course contents as that of prestigious UET Lahore.

Teachers of Civil Engineering department are qualified and highly cooperative. I welcome everyone to join our Civil Engineering program and plays a key role in the development of our country and society.

"Engineering stimulates the mind. Kids get bored easily. They have got to get out and get their hands dirty: make things, dismantle things, fix things. When the schools can offer that, you'll have an engineer for life.” (Bruce Dickinson)
